【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=음성군이 4월 27일 개최되는 ‘제19회 반기문마라톤대회’ 참가자 모집에 들어갔다.

제8대 반기문 UN사무총장의 출생지인 음성군에서 열리는 이번 대회는 마라톤의 가장 대표적인 풀코스(42.195km), 하프코스(21.0975km)는 물론 10km와 건강달리기(4.2km)코스까지 구성돼 베테랑부터 초보자까지 누구나 참가할 수 있다.

뛰어난 자연경관과 이상적인 코스, 다양한 즐길 거리와 푸짐한 먹을거리로 전국 마라토너들에게 큰 인기를 끌고 있는 대회로, 지난달 24일부터 8000명을 목표로 진행된 참가자 모집에서 10여 일 만에 3000명을 돌파하는 등 뜨거운 호응을 얻고 있다.

이번 대회는 기존과 동일하게 음성종합운동장에서 출발해 음성읍 감우재↔금왕읍↔생극면 오생리에서 반환해 다시 돌아오며, 대한육상연맹에서 공인한 코스로 사정리 저수지 수변과 꽃길로 이어지는 아름다운 경관을 만끽할 수 있다.
