【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=음성군은 아동권리 공모전에서 선정된 우수작품을 원남면 오감만족새싹체험장을 시작으로 연말인 12월 31일까지 관내 행정복지센터, 도서관 등 총 4개소에 순회 전시한다고 밝혔다.

군은 지난해 음성군 아동참여위원회 참여 아동이 제안해 발굴한 사업의 하나로, 관내 18세 미만 아동을 대상으로 ‘아동권리 알리기 그림 공모전’을 개최해 4대 권리를 널리 알릴 수 있는 자유그림 15편의 수상작을 선정한 바 있다.

아동들의 창의적이고 순수한 시각으로 생존권, 보호권, 발달권, 참여권 등 아동의 4대 권리를 다양한 방식으로 해석한 작품을 전시함으로써 의미를 더욱 잘 전달해 아동 권리의 군민 공감대가 형성될 것으로 기대된다.

우수작품 순회 전시회는 2월 원남면 오감만족새싹체험장을 시작으로 △4월 금왕읍행정복지센터 △7월 맹동혁신도서관 △10월 음성군청 순으로 각 1주씩 진행될 예정이다.

조병옥 군수는 “이번 순회전시를 통해 군민들이 아동의 4대 권리의 중요성에 대해 생각해 보는 좋은 계기가 됐으면 좋겠다”며 “앞으로도 아동이 행복한 도시, 희망이 꽃피는 아동친화도시 음성을 만들기 위해 적극 노력하겠다”고 말했다.

한편 군은 2022년 11월 유니세프 아동친화도시 상위단계 인증을 획득했으며, 다양한 아동 정책과 사업을 착실히 수행해 지난해 보건복지부, 아동권리보장원 주관 아동정책영향평가에서 도내 유일하게 우수 지자체로 선정됐다.
