【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=24일 이범석 청주시장과 조은숙 LH 충북지역본부장은 3월 31일 입주 개시를 앞둔 청주산단1 행복주택(552호)을 방문하여 합동으로 현장점검을 시행하고 공사 관계자를 격려하였다.

이번 사업부지는 당초 7~80년대 청주산업단지 근로자들의 기숙사 및 복지시설 시설로 활용됐던 곳으로 노후화한 건물을 철거하고, 산업단지 근로자 정주여건 개선을 위해  LH와 청주시가 공동사업 시행협약을 맺고 청주시는 부지 무상 임대, 입주자 선정 지원(우선공급 대상자 선정 50%), 근로자 종합복지관 비용부담 및 운영관리 업무를 수행하고, LH 충북지역본부는 행복주택 공사와 운영관리, 근로자 종합복지관의 공사업무를 수행하였다. 

특히 LH충북지역본부는 행복주택내 산단근로자, 청년, 대학생, 고령자 등 다양한 입주계층을 수용 할수 있도록 청년카페, 공동세탁실, 어린이집 및 작은도서관 등 주민복리시설을 마련하여 더욱 안락한 주거환경을 제공할 예정이다.

청주산단1은 산업단지내 위치하여 출퇴근이 용이하고, 백화점 등 다양한 상업시설 및 공원 등 생활인프라가 우수해 산단근로자, 청년, 대학생, 고령자 등 다양한 계층의 수요가 집중되었다.

한편 LH 충북지역본부는 이번 청주산단1 행복주택을 비롯하여 도민 주거안정을 위해 추진해 온 4개 공공임대주택단지(청주산단1, 진천문백, 증평창동, 옥천신기)의 입주가 3월 말부터 5월까지 진행된다고 밝혔다.
