【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=보은군은 전국에서 산불이 동시다발적으로 발생하는 가운데 산불대비 비상근무 체계에 돌입했다고 25일 밝혔다.

지난 주말 전국에서 42건의 산불이 잇따르고 있으며 주변 지역인 청주시와 옥천군에서도 3건의 산불이 발생하는 등 광범위한 피해가 우려되고 있다.

이에 산림청은 지난 22일 산불 국가위기경보를 주의 단계에서 심각 단계로 상향했다. 

최재형 보은군수는 산불재난경보 해제 시까지 비상근무 체계에 돌입할 것을 지시하고 산불이 발생하지 않도록 업무 추진에 철저를 기할 것을 당부했다. 또한 보은군 현장을 점검하고 산불감시원 근무지 등을 방문해 감시원들을 격려하는 등 현장 중심 산불예방 점검에 나섰다.

군은 △산림녹지과와 각 읍·면 직원들로 구성된 산불방지대책본부 운영 △2201부대 사격훈련 자제 요청 △산불기동단속 및 현장 중심 순찰 강화 △주요 등산로 입산통제 등 다양한 산불 예방 활동을 펼치고 있으며 산불 발생시 전 직원이 즉시 응소해 대응할 수 있도록 지시를 내렸다.

아울러 마을 방송 등을 통해 봄철 대형 산불 예방 홍보를 실시하고 입산자 실화, 영농부산물 쓰레기 소각 등으로 인한 산불이 발생하지 않도록 계도하고 있다.

최재형 보은군수는 “보은군 산불 예방을 위해 모든 행정력을 집중하고 주민들의 안전을 최우선으로 생각해 철저한 대비책을 마련하겠다”며 “청주시, 옥천군 등 주변 지역에서도 산불이 발생하는 만큼 실화로 인한 산불이 발생하지 않도록 군민들의 주의를 부탁드린다”고 말했다.
