【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=제천시 탁구협회가 주관하고 제천시청 탁구단이 주최한 '제천시청과 함께하는 핑퐁데이트'가 지난 23일 제천탁구전용구장에서 큰 호응 속에 성공적으로 개최됐다.

이날 탁구에 관심 있는 제천시민 60여 명이 참가하였으며, 장애인 동호인도 함께 즐기며 따뜻한 교감의 시간을 가졌다. 

특히, 제천시청 탁구단 선수들이 원포인트 레슨을 통해 동호인들이 배우고자 하는 기술을 친절하게 지도하고, 실전 경기를 통해 배운 기술을 직접 적용할 수 있도록 도와주었으며, 이로써 참가자들은 탁구에 대한 이해를 높이고 실전에서 활용할 수 있는 실력을 키울 수 있는 기회가 되었다. 

제천시청 탁구단 양희석 감독은 “많은 분들이 참여해 주셔서 감사드리고 본 행사가 탁구를 통해 시민들의 삶에 긍정적인 영향을 미칠 수 있는 기회가 되기를 바란다”며 “앞으로도 생활체육과 엘리트 체육이 함께 성장할 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 소감을 밝혔다.
