【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=보은교육지원청(교육장 전병일)은 보은군학교운영위원회위원장협의회(회장 강문수)와 보은군학부모연합회(회장 최미정)가 관내 유·초·중·고 23개교에 자발적으로 현수막을 게시하며 교권 존중 캠페인을 벌인다고 12일 밝혔다.

  이번 현수막 게시는 교직원의 사기진작과 학생·학부모 모두가 즐거운 학교가 되길 기원하는 마음을 담아 두 단체에서 공동으로 추진하여 훈훈한 분위기를 자아냈다. 

  보은군 학교운영위원회위원장협의회 강문수 회장은 “학교운영위원회는 교육공동체의 목소리를 모으고 학교 발전의 방향을 함께 만들어가는 중요한 역할을 하고 있다. 학교와 학부모, 지역사회가 신뢰를 바탕으로 함께 성장할 수 있길 바라며, 그러기 위해서는 상호존중이 바탕이 되어야 한다고 생각한다”고 말했다. 

  또한 보은군학부모연합회 최미정 회장은 “서로 존중하는 마음으로 아이들과 선생님들이 즐겁게 학교생활을 하길 바란다”며, “그러기 위해서는 학부모가 먼저 선생님들을 존중해야 한다”고 말했다. 

  전병일 교육장은 “학교운영위원과 학부모님들이 교사를 응원하고 존중하는 마음을 담아 현수막을 게시해 주어 감사하다”며 “이를 계기로 교권이 보장되고 선생님들이 힘을 내어 학생을 지도하고 학생들이 즐거운 학교가 될 수 있을 것”이라고 밝혔다.
