【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=2025년 영동포도축제가 '영동으로 오시게, 포도맛에 놀라시게'를 슬로건으로 18일 개막을 시작으로 21일까지 나흘간 국악엑스포 행사장 바로 옆 과일나라테마공원에서 개최된다.

축제장은 오전 10시 개장을 시작으로, 18일부터 20일까지는 저녁 7시까지, 마지막 날인 21일은 저녁 6시까지 운영된다. 방문객들은 포도 판매장, 포도 밟기 체험, 포도 뷰티 건강 체험관, 키즈파크 등 다양한 프로그램에 참여할 수 있다.

올해 축제는 '2025 영동국악세계엑스포'와 연계하여 진행되며, 행사 기간과 장소를 변경해 방문객들에게 더욱 풍성한 즐거움을 선사할 계획이다. 

체험비 만 원을 내면 포도 따기 체험장에서 신선한 포도를 직접 수확해 가져갈 수도 있다. 또한 포도 따기 체험장까지 순환버스가 오전 10시부터 오후 5시까지 30분 간격으로 운행되어 방문객들의 편의를 돕는다.

특히 올해는 MBA 포도, 샤인머스켓 등 품질 좋은 포도를 맛볼 수 있으며, 포도를 활용한 다양한 체험과 이벤트가 마련됐다. 지난해 인기를 끌었던 포도 뷰티 체험관을 확대 운영해 어린이부터 중장년층까지 모든 연령대가 즐길 수 있도록 구성했다.

영동군은 가족 단위 관광객을 위해 실내 놀이시설과 아동 체험 이벤트를 풍성하게 마련했고, 푸드트럭 배치 등 먹거리 공간도 확대했다. 야외 특설무대에서는 신나는 음악에 맞춰 포도를 밟으며 스트레스를 날리는 ‘포도밟기’ 체험이 인기를 끌고 있으며, 포도과원에서 직접 포도를 수확하는 ‘포도따기’ 체험도 큰 호응을 얻고 있다.
