【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=국회 행정안전위원회 소속 이광희 의원(더불어민주당, 청주서원)이 오송참사 국정조사를 마무리하고 결과보고서 채택을 완료했다고 발표했다.

이 의원은 이날 "오랜 기간 기다려주신 도민 여러분, 유가족, 생존자, 대책위원회 등 모든 이들에게 이번 결과를 보고한다"고 밝혔다.

이번 국정조사에서는 집중호우 시 관련 기관의 안전관리 대책 미비와 재난 상황 전파·보고 체계 작동 실패로 인한 지하차도 통제 누락이 주요 원인으로 지적됐다.

이 의원은 "재난 직전 시스템이 제대로 기능하지 못해 참사를 키웠다"고 강조했다.

이어 그는 "참사의 원인과 책임을 명확히 하고 제기된 여러 문제와 검찰 수사 결과에 대한 의문점을 철저하게 규명하기 위함"이라며 이번 조사 결과를 바탕으로 철저한 재조사를 요구했다.

또한 재난 예방 및 대응 체계를 개선하고 이를 이행할 구체적인 계획 마련을 요구했다. 피해자 유가족에 대한 지원 대책을 재검토하고 조속히 시행할 것도 촉구했다.

김영환 충북지사는 이번 국정조사 과정에서 행정안전위원회 만장일치로 위증 혐의로 고발됐다.

이광희 의원은 법무부 장관과의 간담회를 통해서도 강력한 재조사를 재차 요구했다고 밝혔다.

그는 "오송 참사가 발생한 지 2년이 지나 뒤늦게 국정조사를 진행하게 된 점에 대해 깊은 송구의 마음을 전한다"고 말했다.
