【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=국립한국교통대학교는 지난 11월 4일(화)과 11일(화), 증평캠퍼스에서 ‘국제간호사 진로탐색 토크콘서트’를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

이번 토크콘서트는 국립대학육성사업 멘토링 기반 진로탐색 LLC 프로그램의 일환으로 진행됐으며 간호학과 동아리 ‘내비널스’(박지현, 성아현, 이은규, 윤민식, 윤정현, 지도교수 김연하)가 주관했다.

또한, 글로벌 간호 분야로의 진로를 모색하는 학생들에게 실질적 정보를 제공하고, 해외 간호사의 직무 환경을 이해하는 기회를 마련하고자 기획됐으며 강연에서 IMRNX 위아너스 김명애 대표는 ‘글로벌 간호 인재로 스킬업’을 주제로, 전 미국 롱비치 보훈병원(Long Beach VA Medical Center) 최(김)성숙 신장전문간호사는 ‘미국 간호사의 현재와 미래’를 주제로 연단에 올랐다.

김명애 대표는 미국과 싱가포르 간호사 취업시장 현황과 준비 과정, 기업의 해외 교육 및 파견 사례를 중심으로 실질적인 취업 전략을 제시했으며, 최(김)성숙 전문간호사는 미국과 한국의 간호 실무 환경 차이, 간호사의 전문성과 책임, 전문간호사 과정 등에 대해 생생한 현장 경험을 공유했다.

양일간 진행된 행사에는 80여 명 이상의 간호학과 학생들이 참여해 강연자들과 활발히 질의응답을 나누며 국제 무대에서의 간호사 역할과 진로 방향을 구체화하는 계기를 마련했다. 학생들은 강연을 통해 글로벌 간호 역량의 중요성과 준비 과정의 현실적인 방향성을 체감했다.

한편, 토크콘서트를 주관한 간호학과 동아리 내비널스는 “앞으로도 간호학과 학생들이 글로벌 간호사로 성장할 수 있도록 다양한 진로탐색 프로그램을 지속적으로 운영하겠다”라고 밝혔다.

Korea National University of Transportation Holds International Nursing Career Exploration Talk Concert

Korea National University of Transportation announced that it held the "International Nursing Career Exploration Talk Concert" at its Jeungpyeong Campus on Tuesday, November 4th and Tuesday, November 11th.

CEO Kim Myung-ae presented practical employment strategies, focusing on the current state of the US and Singaporean nursing job markets, the preparation process, and examples of companies offering overseas training and dispatches. Specialist Nurse Choi (Kim) Seong-sook shared her firsthand experience on the differences between the US and Korean nursing practice environments, the professionalism and responsibilities of nurses, and the Specialist Nurse program.

Over 80 nursing students participated in the two-day event, engaging in a lively Q&A session with the speakers, providing an opportunity to concretize the role of nurses in the international arena and their career paths. Through the lectures, students gained a deeper understanding of the importance of global nursing competencies and the practical direction of the preparation process.

Meanwhile, Navinals, the nursing club that hosted the talk concert, stated, "We will continue to operate various career exploration programs to help nursing students grow into global nurses."
