【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충청북도교육청 직속기관 교육연구정보원은 14일(금)부터 15일(토)까지, 양 일간 엔포드호텔에서 도내 초‧중‧고등학교 51개 팀, 약 180여 명이 참가한 2025. 제10회 충북소프트웨어해커톤을 마무리했다.

해커톤(Hackathon)은 해킹(Hacking)과 마라톤(Marathon)의 합성어로, 정해진 시간 동안 팀을 이루어 주어진 주제의 문제를 협력적으로 해결하고 창의적인 소프트웨어 결과물을 만들어내는 행사로 창의적인 아이디어와 코딩 역량을 겨뤘다.

2~4명으로 구성된 각 팀은 ▲초등 <안전한 하굣길을 위한 스마트 시스템 만들기> ▲중등 <교육 격차를 줄이기 위한 SW‧AI 기반 솔루션 개발>을 주제로 프로젝트를 진행했다.

충북교육청은 2016년 전국 최초로 교육청 단위 해커톤을 시작한 이후 10년째 꾸준히 이어오며, 전국 SW‧AI 교육의 선도 모델로 자리매김하고 있다.

특히, 교육연구정보원은 충북디지털교육플랫폼을 통해 온라인 학습 콘텐츠를 사전에 제공받아 학생들이 자기주도적으로 학습하고 협업 역량을 강화할 수 있도록 지원했다.

윤건영 교육감은 “충북 소프트웨어 해커톤은 학생들이 협력과 공유의 가치를 배우며, 미래사회에 대비하여 소프트웨어를 통해 창의적으로 문제를 해결하는 배움의 장”이라며, “10년의 전통 위에 AI시대에 맞는 미래사회 핵심 인재 양성의 발판이 될 것이다.”라고 말했다.
