Korea National University of Transportation Operates ‘Summer Vacation History and Culture’ Experience Program for Children in Chungju

On August 5, Korea National University of Transportation held the "Knock, Make! Iron-Iron Exploration Team" summer vacation exploration program at its Chungju Campus and the Eumseong Iron Museum for children and teachers from local community children's centers in Chungju.

Planned as part of the National University Development Project, this event was organized to share the university's educational infrastructure with the local community and to provide diverse historical and cultural experiences during the vacation to local children who have limited opportunities for cultural activities. Forty-five children from the Dreaming of Happiness Community Children's Center and the Eunhye Community Children's Center participated in the event, engaging in various activities centered on iron culture, a core heritage of Jungwon culture.
