【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=진천읍 지역사회보장협의체가 여름방학을 맞아 지역 아동과 청소년의 교육격차를 해소하고 꿈을 찾을 수 있도록 돕는 진로 탐색 행사를 마련했다.

진천읍 지역사회보장협의체는 6일 지역아동센터연합회와 학교밖청소년센터 소속 아동·청소년 30여 명을 대상으로 ‘비전 브릿지’ 프로그램을 진행했다고 밝혔다. 이번 행사는 아이들의 교육 기회 불균형을 줄이고 미래 직업 설계를 지원하기 위해 추진 중인 마을건강복지계획사업의 일환으로 실시됐다.

협의체는 참가 학생들의 사전 희망 사항을 적극 반영해 경기도 성남시에 위치한 공공 종합 직업체험관 한국잡월드를 방문했다. 현장에 참가한 학생들은 평소 관심 있던 다양한 직업군을 직접 경험하고 다채로운 체험 활동을 즐기며 뜻깊은 시간을 보냈다.

행사에 참가한 한 학생은 평소 관심이 많았던 분야를 현장에서 직접 체험해 보면서 미래를 위해 어떤 노력을 해야 하는지 명확히 알 수 있었다며, 알차고 재미있는 여름방학 추억이 되어 기쁘다고 소감을 전했다.

한편 진천읍 지역사회보장협의체는 지난해 진행한 아동·청소년 대상 '쿠킹클래스'에 이어 2년 연속으로 진로 탐색 사업을 지속해 오고 있으며, 앞으로도 지역 청소년들의 건강한 성장을 돕기 위한 다각적인 지원을 이어나갈 방침이다.
