영동군보건소는 오는 21일 보건소 대회의실에서 감염취약시설 종사자 및 관계 공무원들을 대상으로 2026년 감염취약시설 감염병 예방관리 역량강화 교육을 진행한다. 이번 교육은 고령자와 다수의 취약계층이 이용하는 시설 내 감염병 발생 위험을 미리 차단하고, 발생 시 초기 신속한 대응으로 지역사회 확산을 막기 위해 기획됐다.

최근 위생 수준 향상에도 불구하고 노인요양시설 등에서 옴 발생이 이어지고 있으며, 의료기관 내 카바페넴내성장내세균목(CRE) 감염증과 같은 의료관련감염병 위험이 꾸준히 제기되는 상황이다. 이에 따라 보건소는 시설 종사자들의 체계적이고 전문적인 관리 능력 확보가 시급하다고 판단했다.
