이번 사업은 농촌 지역의 정주 여건을 대폭 개선하고 주민 생활서비스 기능을 확장해 지역민의 삶의 질을 높이기 위해 추진된다. 음성군은 이번 승인을 계기로 다문화가정과 노년층, 영유아 등 전 계층의 수요를 반영한 맞춤형 생활 사회간접자본 확충에 박차를 가할 방침이다.

우선 대소읍 농촌중심지활성화사업에는 총사업비 180억 원이 투입된다. 대소읍 오산리 일원에 부지면적 5,057㎡, 연면적 2,351.78㎡ 규모로 문화와 복지, 공동체 기능을 아우르는 ‘박장대소 복합거점센터’를 건립한다. 오는 10월 착공을 시작해 2027년 12월 준공을 목표로 사업을 추진한다.
