충청북도의회 예산결산특별위원회는 28일 의회 회의실에서 예결특위 전체 의원을 대상으로 예산 및 결산 심사의 전문성을 극대화하기 위한 직무역량 강화 교육을 진행했다고 밝혔다.

이번 교육은 제13대 충청북도의회 출범 이후 새롭게 위촉된 예결특위 위원들의 실무 심사 역량을 끌어올리고, 체계적인 분석 기법을 모색하기 위해 기획됐다.

예산결산특별위원회는 충청북도 및 충청북도교육청이 제출하는 연간 예산안과 결산 승인안을 최종 심의하고 확정하는 도의회의 핵심 기구다.

특히 오는 9월 정례회에서 예정된 충청북도와 도교육청의 결산안 심사를 비롯해 충청북도 제3회 추가경정예산안 심의를 앞두고, 예산 집행의 정당성과 효율성을 철저히 검증할 수 있도록 실무 분석 기법 습득에 초점을 맞췄다.
