이번 축제는 제천 지역 청소년들이 인공지능과 과학, 발명, 수학 등 첨단 과학기술을 놀이와 체험 형태로 친숙하게 접할 수 있도록 기획됐다. 현장에서는 과학, 기술, 공학, 예술, 수학을 접목한 STEAM 융합 교육이 다채롭게 펼쳐져 청소년들의 호기심을 자극했다.

국립한국교통대학교 충북과학문화거점센터는 증강현실 기술을 결합한 디지털 스포츠인 ‘HADO 사이버 피구’ 체험 부스를 마련해 눈길을 끌었다. 참가 학생들은 AR 장비를 착용하고 가상의 에너지볼을 주고받는 등 신체 활동과 디지털 기술이 결합한 색다른 스포츠를 직접 경험했다.
