율량배수지 신설공사는 청주 북부권역 및 택지개발지구에 깨끗하고 풍부한 생활용수의 안정적인 공급을 위해 98억원의 시비를 투입해 기존 율량배수지 부지에 2단계로 증설계획을 수립해 2018년 3월에 착공해 2020년 10월 준공을 완료했으며, 사업규모는 배수지 V=10,000㎥ 증설, 송･배수관로 D600(L=0.5㎞) 부설이다.

내덕1동 뉴딜사업은 내덕동 620-5번지 일원 융복합 문화거점 구축, 거주환경 개선, 지역 특화가로 조성, 80호의 행복주택을 공급하기로 예정돼 있으며, 우암동 뉴딜사업은 우암동 일원 청춘허브센터 조성(연면적 15,612㎡), 중앙로 보행환경 개선(L=700m), 나눔 주차장 조성(120면) 등의 사업을 계획하고 있다.

운천‧신봉동 뉴딜사업은 운천･신봉동 일원 구루물 아지트 조성(지하1층~지상3층) 디지털 헤리티지 체험마당 조성, 차없는거리(180m), 완전도로(350m), 대체도로(155m)를 계획하고 있으며, 영운동 뉴딜사업은 영운동 179-1번지 일원 노후주택 수리, 영우리 사랑방 조성, 영우리 커뮤니티 가로조성, 주민역량강화 지원사업 등을 추진할 계획이다.
