【브레이크뉴스 충북】임창용 기자=충북 괴산군은 23일 괴산읍 행정복지센터에서 희망나눔 냉장고 개소식을 열었다고 밝혔다.

이날 개소식에는 이차영 괴산군수를 비롯한 괴산군지역사회보장협의체위원, 괴산읍지역사회보장협의체위원 등 30여 명이 참석해 희망나눔 냉장고의 설치를 축하했다.

희망나눔 냉장고 사업이란, 군민이 다 같이 나눌 수 있는 자율 기부, 취식 냉장고를 운영해 기부문화와의 확산과 괴산군 복지사업의 다양화를 실천하기 위해 추진되는 사업이다.

희망나눔 냉장고는 지난 3월부터 군민들의 어려움을 나누는 일에 동참하고자 급여의 일정부분을 반납한 괴산군수의 후원금과 괴산사랑 1인 1계좌 갖기 운동의 후원 적립금을 통해 마련됐다.

이날 개소식 행사를 전후해 후원물품 릴레이도 펼쳐졌다.

괴산읍 리우회(회장 황길성)에서는 희망나눔 냉장고 운영을 위해 50만 원을 기부했고, 유화준 민간위원장은 괴산사랑 1인 1계좌에 100만 원을 기부했다.

신동운 괴산군의회 의장과 안미선 의원은 저소득가구를 위해 고춧가루와 화장지를 후원했다.

이종관 기곡리 이장, 변형수 동부3리 이장, 진평건설(대표 최경환), 한울재가복지센터(센터장 황봉하), 주성마트(대표 김명자), 윤산식품(대표 이인숙), 괴산농협(조합장 김응식) 등의 후원자들이 쌀, 음료수, 라면, 단백질음료, 국수 등의 식료품과 치약, 샴푸, 반찬통 등을 후원했다.

괴산읍과 괴산읍 지역사회보장협의체는 희망나눔 냉장고의 사업 활성화를 위해 사업 홍보와 후원자 발굴에 힘쓰고 있다.

희망나눔 냉장고는 이용자 편의를 고려해 괴산읍 지역사회보장협의체 위원들이 조를 나눠 도우미로 나선다.

이들은 후원물품을 정리하고 사용방법을 안내할 예정이다.

유화준 민간위원장은 “희망나눔 냉장고를 시작으로 기부문화가 확산되고 저소득가구 발굴 및 지원체계가 더욱 촘촘해지길 바란다”고 말했다.

이차영 괴산군수는 “희망나눔 냉장고는 모두가 행복한 희망 괴산 건설의 밑거름이 될 것”이라며 “누구나 쉽게 이용할 수 있는 희망나눔 냉장고를 통해 지역 사회에 나눔 문화가 확산되길 바란다”고 말했다.
