충주시, 결혼이민자 정착단계별 패키지 ‘겟레디’성료

【브레이크뉴스 충북】김병주 기자=충주시건강가정다문화가족지원센터(센터장 심재석)가 지난 23일 결혼이민자들의 안정적인 한국 정착을 돕기 위한 프로그램인 결혼이민자 정착단계별 지원패키지 ‘겟레디’를 마무리했다.

 

결혼이민자 정착 단계별 지원패키지 ‘겟레디’는 결혼이민자가 스스로 장기적인 관점에서 미래를 설계하고 우리 사회의 건강한 시민으로 정착·성장하도록 지원하는 프로그램이다.

 

프로그램은 △미래설계 프로그램(3회차) △당당한 학부모를 향한 길찾기(3회차) △괜찮은 일자리를 향한 길찾기(4회차) 등 총 10회에 걸쳐 진행됐다.

 

참여자들은 ‘미래설계 프로그램’을 통해 자신의 정착 수준과 욕구를 파악하고 한국 생활의 미래 삶에 대한 적극적인 동기 부여의 중요성을 배웠다.

 

또 ‘당당한 학부모를 향한 길찾기’등을 수료함으로써 자녀양육 방법과 학부모 역할을 배우고 다문화 자녀의 특성을 이해하는 시간을 가졌다.

 

아울러 경제적 문제에 대비하고 성공적인 취업을 준비하는 ‘괜찮은 일자리를 향한 길찾기’ 과정을 수료해 일자리와 관련된 다양한 직업세계를 이해하고 지역사회 일원으로서 자신감을 쌓았다.

 

센터는 사회적 거리두기와 방역수칙을 준수를 위해 소규모 대면 교육으로 진행했으며, 총 5개 출신 국가 20명의 결혼이민자가 참여했다.

 

프로그램에 참여한 결혼이민자 A 씨는 “이번 교육을 통해 한국에서의 일자리 준비와 자기계발 방법을 배울 수 있어 좋았다”라며 “특히, 자녀 양육과 취업에 대한 많은 정보를 얻을 수 있었다”며 소감을 전했다.
