【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충북 영동군은 정영철 영동군수가 ‘수산물 소비촉진 챌린지’에 참여했다고 17일 밝혔다.

‘수산물 소비촉진 챌린지’는 지난 7월 우리바다지키기 검증전담팀과 해양수산부의 공동 제안으로 시작, 어촌 경제 활성화와 우리 수산물 소비를 장려하기 위해 진행되고 있는 캠페인이다.

정영철 영동군수는 “이번 챌린지를 통해 우리 수산물에 대한 군민들의 불안감을 해소하고 소비를 촉진해 수산업계가 다시 한번 활력을 찾을 수 있기를 바란다”고 전했다.

 이날 전진선 양평군수의 추천으로 챌린지에 동참한 정 군수는 다음 주자로 최재형 충북 보은군수를 지명하며 좋은 취지의 실천 운동 확산을 당부했다.
