【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=음성군(군수 조병옥)의 명품 농특산물을 한자리에서 만나 볼 수 있는 통합 농산물 축제인 ‘2024 음성명작페스티벌’이 개막했다.

5일부터 8일까지 4일간 금왕읍 금빛근린공원에서 개최되는 음성명작페스티벌은 음성군 농산물 공동브랜드 ‘음성명작’의 브랜드 이미지 제고를 위해 ‘국가대표 음성명작’이라는 주제로 펼쳐진다.

음성명작페스티벌 첫째 날, 음성군 명품작물들을 한곳에서 만나 볼 수 있는 ‘음성명작 전시관 개장식’이 열렸다. 

고추, 인삼, 과수, 축산물과 다양한 일반농산물을 살 수 있는 명품장터에는 관람객들의 발길이 끊이지 않았다.

특히 장터에서 구매한 농산물을 손쉽게 가져가도록 인삼 세척서비스(무료)와 고추방앗간(유료) 서비스가 제공되며, 농산물 무료 택배도 지원돼 큰 호응을 얻었다.

음성명작페스벌의 성대한 개막을 알리는 개막식은 오후 7시 열린다. 식전 행사로 축제의 흥을 돋우기 위해 퍼레이드 행렬이 시작됐고 화려한 미디어 아트의 주제공연을 시작으로 작년에 큰 환호를 받은 드론쇼가 다시 펼쳐진다.

이어 불꽃놀이가 밤하늘을 아름답게 수놓고 수많은 인파 속에 YB 밴드의 축하 공연이 이어진다.

음성명작페스티벌은 8일까지 계속되며, 음성군의 풍성한 농산물과 농업의 매력을 만끽할 수 있는 다채로운 프로그램들이 이어질 예정이다.

축제 둘째 날은 초화류 심기 등 다양한 체험행사와 청년들의 감성과 문화를 소통하고 공감할 수 있는 충북청년축제를 개최한다.

조병옥 음성군수는 “명작페스티벌은 농부들이 땀 흘려 가꾼 농작물을 저렴하게 판매 홍보하는 행사이다. 많은 분이 방문하여 농가 격려도 해 주시고 물품도 구입하여 농가 소득증대는 물론, 농민들 사기를 높여주었으면 한다.”고 전했다.
