【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충청북도교육청(교육감 윤건영)은 2025학년도에 중학교 학습 사다리 교실을 운영해 교과 학습 및 학습 동기 강화 맞춤형 학습 지원으로 학습 도약의 길을 모색한다. 

중학교 실력다짐 학습 사다리 교실은 학생 수준과 희망을 고려한 소규모 학급을 편성하여 교과별 심화·보충지도, 학습 동기·의욕 고취 교내 외 특별 프로그램을 운영하도록 지원하는 교육이다. 

학기 중 방과 후 시간과 학기·학년 전환기(방학)를 활용하여 중학교 129개교에서 전학년의 희망 학생을 대상으로 학습 사다리 교실을 운영한다.

학년별로 교과 보충과 학습 컨설팅 등 학생과 학교의 희망에 따라 수준별 맞춤형 수업으로 운영할 수 있다.

교과보충 교실은 수학향상반, 영어심화반, 과학탐구반, 역사탐구반, 논술기초반 등으로 운영할 수 있으며, 학습코칭, 학습자존감 증진캠프, 문해력 강화 프로그램 등 학습 컨설팅 교실도 운영할 수 있다.

충북교육청은 교육청-교육지원청 주요업무 추진 협의회에서 실력다짐 학습 사다리 교실의 취지와 운영 방법을 설명하고 교육지원청의 현장 밀착형 컨설팅 지원이 이루어지도록 안내한 바 있다.

이미숙 중등교육과장은 “학기 중과 학습 공백기인 방학을 이용해 심화·보충학습과 학습 동기 강화 프로그램들을 운영하며 자기 스스로 능력을 증진해 학생 모두가 성장할 수 있는 경험을 할 수 있다.”며, “공교육의 힘으로 학생의 학습과 성장의 도약을 적극 지원하고 미래사회를 주도적으로 살아갈 수 있는 인재로 성장할 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다.”고 밝혔다.
