【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충청북도제천교육지원청(교육장 강성권)은 3월 25일 오후 3시, 한국환경공단 인재개발원 및 제천 지역 5개 초등학교(내토초, 명지초, 신백초, 장락초, 제천중앙초)와 함께 늘봄학교 범정부 협력을 위한 업무협약(MOU)을 체결했다.

이번 협약은 지역사회와의 유기적 협력을 통해 늘봄학교 교육의 질을 높이고 학생 중심 프로그램을 확대하기 위한 것으로, 2년째 추진되고 있다.

한국환경공단은 참여 학교를 대상으로 그리기, 체험, 놀이 활동 등을 결합한 ‘환경 이야기’ 프로그램을 제공할 계획이며 ‘ESG(사회공헌)교육’ 프로그램을 통해 제작한 자전거 20대를 초·중·고 학생들에게 기부할 예정이다.

 강성권 교육장은 “이번 협약을 계기로 제천의 학생들이 다양한 교육 기회를 누리고, 보다 나은 환경에서 성장할 수 있기를 바란다”며, “기부받은 자전거는 꼭 필요한 학생들에게 전달될 수 있도록 세심히 배려하겠다”고 전했다.

Jecheon Office of Education, Neulbom School Signs MOU for Government-wide Cooperation
