【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=장기봉 음성군수 권한대행이 제9회 전국동시지방선거 사전투표를 하루 앞둔 28일 관내 사전투표소를 찾아 준비 상황을 점검했다.

이번 점검은 사전투표 기간 유권자가 집중될 것에 대비해 투표 과정에서의 불편을 최소화하고 안전사고를 미연에 방지하기 위해 마련됐다.

장기봉 권한대행은 음성읍 사전투표소를 직접 방문해 유권자 동선, 출입 관리 체계, 비상 상황 대응 시스템 등 전반적인 인프라를 살폈다. 특히 장애인과 노약자 등 교통약자가 투표하는 데 불편함이 없도록 경사로 정비 상태와 안내 시설물 배치 상황을 면밀히 확인했다.

이번 제9회 전국동시지방선거 사전투표는 5월 29일부터 30일까지 이틀간 실시된다. 음성군 내 9개 읍·면별로 1개소씩 총 9개의 사전투표소가 운영되며, 투표 시간은 오전 6시부터 오후 6시까지다.
