【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충북 영동군이 건강한 산림생태계를 유지하고 산림 피해를 최소화하기 위해 오는 8월 말까지 ‘2026년 산림병해충방제 대책본부’를 운영한다.

운영 기간 동안 군은 산림병해충 피해목을 조기에 발견하기 위한 예찰 계획을 수립·추진하는 한편, 방제 유관기관과의 협조체계를 한층 강화한다. 이와 함께 소나무재선충병 등 주요 병해충의 피해목 방제사업과 제거목 처리, 공동예찰·진단반 운영 등을 통해 확산 요인을 사전에 차단할 계획이다. 특히 소나무재선충병 피해목 방제와 병해충 진단, 방제기술 지도 등이 중점적으로 추진된다.
