【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=제천시 의림지역사박물관 일원에서 오는 6월 6일부터 7일까지 이틀간 「제1회 제천 숲푸드&마켓 페스티벌」이 열린다.

사단법인 한국전문임업인 제천협의회가 주최하고 제천시가 후원하는 이번 행사는 ‘숲에서 온 선물, 오감으로 즐기는 특별한 하루!’라는 주제로 진행되며, 매일 오전 10시부터 오후 6시까지 운영된다. 제천의 우수한 임산물을 널리 알리고 생산자와 소비자가 직접 만나는 직거래의 장을 마련하고자 기획됐다.

행사장에서는 산양삼, 더덕, 약초, 오미자, 표고버섯, 야생화 등 지역 대표 임산물을 활용한 다양한 상품과 먹거리를 선보인다. 특히 임산물을 활용한 건강 먹거리인 ‘숲푸드’와 지역 생산자가 직접 참여하는 ‘메이드인 제천’ 직거래 장터가 개설돼 방문객들에게 신선하고 품질 좋은 임산물을 제공할 예정이다.

축제 공간은 먹거리존, 마켓존, 체험존, 전시존 등 4개 구역으로 다채롭게 구성된다. 전시존에서는 지역 야생화 전문 농원이 참여하는 야생화 특별 전시가 열려 우리 야생화의 아름다움을 감상할 수 있다.

체험존에서는 숲해설가협동조합, 우드플레이협동조합, 키즈아트연구소 등이 참여해 어린이와 가족 단위 방문객을 위한 다양한 체험 프로그램을 운영한다. 아울러 ‘숲속친구들’ 부스에서는 다람쥐, 토끼, 관상조류 등 동물들을 직접 만나볼 수 있는 기회도 제공된다. 이 외에도 한입 먹거리와 반려식물 무료 나눔 행사 등 축제의 재미를 더할 이벤트가 함께 마련된다.
