경제총조사는 경제 및 산업정책 수립의 기초자료로 활용하기 위해 5년마다 실시하는 국가승인통계조사다. 이번 조사는 2025년 12월 31일을 기준으로 진천군 관내에서 산업활동을 영위하는 모든 사업체를 대상으로 진행되며, 이 중 표본으로 선정된 6,208개 사업체가 최종 조사에 참여하게 된다.
