【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=제천시 공예협회가 제천의 아름다운 문화예술과 관광자원을 널리 알리고 지역 공예산업을 활성화하기 위해 ‘2026 제천시 공예품·관광기념품 공모전’을 개최한다.

이번 공모전은 제천문화재단이 추진하는 ‘2026 문화예술활동 지원사업’의 일환으로 마련됐으며, 제천을 대표할 수 있는 우수한 공예품과 창의적인 관광기념품을 발굴하는 데 목적이 있다.

공모 분야는 공예품 부문과 관광기념품 부문 등 두 가지로 나뉘어 진행된다. 공예품 부문은 목칠, 도자, 초자, 금속, 섬유 등 다양한 소재를 활용한 작품을 대상으로 한다. 관광기념품 부문은 국내외 관광객들에게 판매가 가능하며, 제천만의 독창적인 상징성과 상품성을 고루 갖춘 제품이면 누구나 출품할 수 있다.

참가 접수는 오는 6월 18일까지 진행된다. 먼저 1차로 신청서를 접수한 뒤, 2차 실물 작품 접수를 거치게 된다. 최종 심사 결과는 6월 19일에 발표될 예정이며, 시상식은 6월 22일 오후 2시 제천시민회관 제1전시실에서 열린다.

The Jecheon Craft Association is hosting the ‘2026 Jecheon Crafts & Tourism Souvenir Contest’ to promote Jecheon’s beautiful culture, arts, and tourism resources, and to revitalize the local craft industry.

This contest has been organized as part of the ‘2026 Cultural Arts Activity Support Project’ promoted by the Jecheon Cultural Foundation, and aims to discover excellent crafts and creative tourism souvenirs that can represent Jecheon.
