【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=증평군학교밖청소년지원센터가 학교 밖 청소년들을 위한 체계적이고 세심한 학습 지원을 통해 의미 있는 학업 성과를 거두었다. 센터는 올해 치러진 제1회 검정고시에서 합격의 기쁨을 안은 청소년들을 초청해 합격증 수여식을 개최하고, 어려운 여건 속에서도 포기하지 않고 노력해 온 이들을 격려했다고 밝혔다.

지난달 4일에 시행된 이번 검정고시에서 증평군에서는 중학교 졸업 학력 3명과 고등학교 졸업 학력 12명을 포함해 총 15명의 합격자가 나왔다. 고등학교 학력 합격자 중 9명은 전 과목 합격의 쾌거를 이루었으며 3명은 부분 과목 합격을 기록했다. 이러한 성과는 학교 울타리 밖에서 학업을 이어가는 청소년들이 공백 없이 학력을 취득할 수 있도록 다각적인 맞춤형 프로그램을 제공해 온 센터 지원 체계의 실효성을 입증한 결과로 평가받는다.
