【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충북도가 26일 도청에서 행정안전부, 대전광역시, 제주도 및 도내 6개 인구감소지역 시군 담당자 등 50여 명이 참석한 가운데 '인구감소지역 현장소통 설명회'를 개최했다.

이번 설명회는 저출생·고령화와 청년층 유출로 대표되는 인구감소 위기에 선제적으로 대응하고, 중앙정부와 지방정부 간 긴밀한 협력 체계를 구축해 관련 기금 운용의 실효성을 높이기 위해 마련됐다.

행사는 충북도지사 권한대행인 이동옥 행정부지사의 인사말을 시작으로 행정안전부의 인구감소지역 및 지방소멸 대응 정책 방향 소개, 기금 평가·운용 관련 현장 질의응답 순으로 진행됐다.

이날 행사의 핵심은 김군호 행정안전부 균형발전국장의 직접 강연이었다. 김 국장은 2027년부터 2031년까지 적용될 '제2차 인구감소지역 대응 기본계획'과 '2027년 지방소멸대응기금 투자계획' 수립 방향을 중점적으로 안내하며, 지역 여건과 주민 수요를 반영한 체계적인 계획 수립의 필요성을 강조했다. 해당 기본계획은 「인구감소지역 지원 특별법」에 따라 5년마다 시군·도·행안부 순으로 수립하는 상향식 계획이다.
