【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충청북도교육청이 국제 바칼로레아(IB) 교육의 철학과 실제 수업 사례를 바탕으로 교원들의 수업 및 평가 역량을 강화하고, 질문과 탐구 중심의 미래형 교실 수업 문화를 확산하기 위해 팔을 걷어붙였다.

충북교육청은 29일부터 30일까지 이틀간 한국교원대학교 교원연수관에서 초·중등 교원 90명을 대상으로 ‘2026 IB 수업·평가 전문가 양성 교원 직무연수’를 운영한다.

이번 연수는 초등 1개 반과 중등 국어, 영어, 수학, 사회, 과학 등 과목별 5개 분임으로 나뉘어 세분화된 맞춤형 교육으로 진행된다.

특히 한국교원대학교 IB 교육전문가연구센터(IBEC) 교수진과 IB 월드스쿨 및 국제학교 교원 등 현장 경험이 풍부한 IB 전문가들을 강사로 초빙해 눈길을 끈다. 연수는 학교급과 교과별 특성을 반영한 실습과 토의 중심으로 짜였으며, 실제 수업 사례와 운영 경험 공유를 통해 교사들이 교실 현장에 곧바로 적용할 수 있도록 역량을 높이는 데 집중한다.

초등 분임에서는 성취기준 연계 분석, 중심 아이디어 기반 수업 단원 설계, 총괄평가 설계 등을 중심으로 프로그램이 운영된다. 중등 분임에서는 탐구진술문 분석, 교과별 평가 목표 이해, 평가기준 기반 수업 설계 및 실행, 효과적인 피드백 등을 주제로 교과별 실습과 토론이 이어진다.

정문희 충북교육청 중등교육과장은 이번 연수를 통해 교실 속에서 학생의 질문과 탐구를 이끌어내는 수업 역량을 키우는 계기가 될 것이라며, 앞으로도 IB 프로그램 교원의 실천 역량 강화를 위해 지속적으로 지원해 나가겠다고 밝혔다.

Jeong Mun-hee, Head of the Secondary Education Division at the Chungbuk Provincial Office of Education, stated that this training will serve as an opportunity to cultivate teaching skills capable of eliciting student questions and inquiry in the classroom.
