이어 "군민들은 군정을 사유화하거나 예산을 제대로 지키지 못한 행정에 대해 분명한 판단을 하고 있다"며 "높은 사전투표율은 괴산을 바꾸고 군정 신뢰를 회복하라는 군민들의 강력한 메시지"라고 강조했다.

이차영은 6월 3일 본투표 참여도 촉구했다. "아직 투표하지 않은 군민들도 본투표에 반드시 참여해 현 군정을 심판해 달라"며 "괴산에는 사법 리스크 없는 깨끗한 군수, 군민의 예산을 지키고 지역의 미래를 책임질 군수가 필요하다"고 말했다.
