【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=충북 증평군 보강천 미루나무 숲 일원에서 오는 12일부터 13일까지 증평문화원 주관으로 ‘제31회 증평문화예술의날’이 개최된다. 증평문화원 창립을 기념해 마련된 이번 문화축제는 문화원 수강생들의 작품 전시와 공연, 지역의 이야기를 담은 창작곡 발표회 등 다채로운 프로그램으로 꾸며진다.

첫날인 12일 오후 7시에는 충북도립교향악단의 초청공연이 펼쳐진다. 증평 삼보초등학교 출신 소프라노 송강이가 무대에 올라 구노 오페라 로미오와 줄리엣 중 ‘Je veux vivre’를 비롯해 ‘강 건너 봄이 오듯’, ‘첫사랑’ 등을 선보인다. 이어 충북도립교향악단은 모차르트의 오페라 ‘피가로의 결혼 서곡’과 ‘고향의 봄’, 영화 ‘캐리비안의 해적’ OST 등 친숙한 곡들을 연주하며 수준 높은 무대를 선사할 예정이다. 공연이 끝난 뒤에는 야외 심야 영화 상영이 이어져 올해 최고 흥행작 ‘왕과 사는 남자’가 상영되며, 선착순 400명에게는 팝콘과 생수가 제공된다.
