진천군사회복지협의회는 지역사회 복지서비스의 전반적인 질을 향상하고, 주민들이 자발적으로 참여하는 따뜻한 복지공동체를 만들기 위해 다각적인 인재 양성 사업을 추진 중이라고 3일 밝혔다.

협의회는 최근 지역 내 고령 인구 증가로 인해 치매 예방과 노인 돌봄에 대한 수요가 급증함에 따라, 이에 선제적으로 대응하고자 ‘2026 주민복지대학 실버인지놀이지도사 2급 과정’을 개설해 운영하고 있다.

이번 교육은 단순히 자격증을 취득하는 이론 중심의 강의에서 벗어나, 지역사회 현장에서 곧바로 활동할 수 있는 정예 전문 봉사 인력을 배출하는 데 초점을 맞췄다. 실제로 교육생들은 지난 5월 23일과 30일 양일에 걸쳐 관내 노인복지시설인 솔마루요양원, 가나안복지마을, 사랑요양원 등을 직접 방문해 생생한 현장 실습과 봉사활동을 펼쳤다.

현장 실습에 참여한 교육생들은 요양시설 어르신들을 대상으로 맞춤형 인지놀이 프로그램을 직접 진행하며 쌓아온 실무 역량을 점검했다. 이 과정에서 교육생들은 현장 감각을 익히는 귀중한 경험을 쌓았으며, 시설 어르신들에게는 오랜만에 정서적 활력과 큰 웃음을 선사하는 뜻깊은 시간을 가졌다.
